The Effects Of Coral Calcium On Fibromyalgia

What is FibroMyalgia?

To understand why coral calcium works for fibromyalgia, you need to know what the syndrome is. Fibromyalgia is a long-term problem that can lead to MS or Lupus if not treated. Sufferers of this syndrome have severe muscle and joint pain, myofacial lumps in their muscles, sleep disturbances, an all over feeling of fatigue and lack of energy. It is said that fibromyalgia syndrome does no permanent damage to muscles, joints, and organs.

The cause of fibromyalgia has eluded researchers for many years because it is a set of symptoms that plague the body at once. This syndrome is very painful, making everyday life difficult for the sufferer because of the intense pain.

There is not enough scientific evidence to support any single cause for this syndrome. Some experts think fibromyalgia may be related to the over sensitivity of nerve cells. Others believe that chemicals in the brain of the sufferer may be out of balance. It has been linked to lack of REM or the deep phases of sleep. Diagnosis of fibromyalgia is made by the presence of at least 10 of the possible 18 tender points in the body. These tender points are located in certain areas, and cause severe pain when pressed on.

The Benefits of Coral Calcium on Fibromyalgia

There have been many reports from sufferers of fibromyalgia on the relief they have gotten from taking coral calcium supplements.

One user of coral calcium reported that they could see a change in sleep patterns right after they began taking a coral calcium supplement. Another fibromyalgia sufferer that has been on coral calcium for about a year has found it very helpful in the relief of their pain. A larger dose of 6 capsules per day was taken for the first 2 weeks, and then the dosage was lowered to 2 to 4 capsules a day, depending on the level of pain.

One woman attests to the fact that her skin blemishes cleared and her skin looked fresh and smooth. She also reported less fluid retention when she sleeps, and seems to feel better after only two days of taking 6 coral calcium tablets per day. Another fibromyalgia sufferer reports getting more restorative sleep, less pain and more energy after taking coral calcium. She started out with 6 230 mg capsules a day for 2 weeks, and is continuing with 2 caps a day or 4 on a day when her leg pain is worse.

There have been reports from fibromyalgia sufferers that they have seen no improvement in their condition after taking coral calcium, but I have heard of no adverse reactions reported while using coral calcium supplements in the treatment of fibromyalgia.
